Always a reasonable place to eat and drink in a small rural town.
Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is daft, but I want to like the Coleshill, so I go back...again...My second choice meal (first was unavailable as per usual) was delivered sans veg. I informed the server that there should be a veg component; she said that all veg had been used up on the Sunday roasts. I said it should have been a dressed salad and...eventually I got a dressed salad. Hallelujah!I pray that this town gets a Wetherspoons, because after 3 years I have given up hope that the Coleshill starts training its staff.
Sadly various phone calls were not answered, when mess age left they didn't get back despite answer message saying they would.Ordered meal, another customer enquired how long he had to wait!!Our order was long in coming staff said broken till/or was it forgotten forgotten?Plus side free drink so part recompensed.
What a lovely hotel, with character throughout, big stylish rooms, and included breakfast. For the price we paid this was exceptional value, and the only thing that slightly let it down at all was the cheap basic bathroom. Would highly recommend!
Pleasant place to meet friends. Food generally good but quality varies according to number of customers. As does the bar and table service. I waited 30 minutes for desert, cancelled it, paid the bill and got up to leave to have my pudding served. !
