Staff were all amazing - in the pub/restaurant, at breakfast service and checking in - so friendly and efficient. Room was modern, cosy and clean and the bed was comfy. We ate in the pub/restaurant and the pizzas were outstanding too. Would recommend this hotel with no hesitation and it's located in a pretty village too.
Only a very basic hotel. However the rooms are recently remodeled and clean. Unfortunately for a double room (or any room), they only have one key for it. So if you need another room key for any reason you're screwed. I was there on business sharing a room with a coworker, and not having a second key complicated our stay immensely. They should have at least a minimum of 2 keys for every room.
Great location for access to NEC. Staff really friendly, good food, and beer at a reasonable price. Rooms are clean spacious and well equipped. Considering this is an old building it appears well looked after with decent ensuite bathrooms.Free parking rounds off a really good deal, we'd happily stay there again.
Stay here every year for Cake International hotel already booked again for next year. Close to NEC. Friendly staff. Warm atmosphere. Lovely little town
Fabulous carvery! Excellent, helpful well trained and friendly staff. The bar staff are quick and efficient. The restaurant staff are courteous, the Chef was personable and gave us exactly what we wanted. Fabulous value for money. Easy to park, good disabled facilities. Can't fault it!
